Software & Data Sets

In the following, please find a selected list of software and data sets that I have developed - partially in conjunction with colleagues - in the past.

WS-Anon.KOM

WS-Anon.KOM is a comprehensive data set that provides QoS measurements for Web Services, based on an infrastructure of globally distributed nodes.

The data set has been created conjointly with my former colleagues, most notably Prof. Dr.-Ing. André Miede, in the context of our research on anonymity in the Internet of Services.

XAM4SWS.KOM

XAM4SWS.KOM (“Cross-Architectural Matchmaker for Semantic Web Services”) is a tool that supports service matchmaking based on syntactic and semantic information across a variety of description standards, including WSDL 1.1 and 2.0, SAWSDL, and hRESTS in conjunction with MicroWSMO.

It has been developed conjointly with my former colleague Dr.-Ing. Stefan Schulte as part of our research on semantic Web service discovery and matchmaking and achieved top placements in the renowned Annual Semantic Service Selection (S3) Contest.

hRESTS-TC

hRESTS-TC is a test collection of semantic service descriptions, based on the hRESTS and MicroWSMO formats. It has been (semi-)automatically derived from the well-known SAWSDL-TC collection by DFKI.

The collection has been created conjointly with my former colleague Dr.-Ing. Stefan Schulte as part of our research on semantic Web service discovery and matchmaking.

FastSplit

FastSplit is a simple, wizard-based file splitting tool that I developed using Microsoft Visual Basic around the beginning of the new millenium. It got a decent number of downloads and pretty good ratings back then. While it is not actively maintained anymore and the UI is only available in German, it may still be of use to some people.
